The History behind the District

If you’re on this site, you’ve learned the exciting news that Deer Creek is BACK, and it’s better than ever. Welcome to the site that serves as the one-stop shop for all there is to see and do, whether at Hamilton Town Center, the Riverview Heath Arena, Ruoff Music Center, the various shopping centers and business developments, parks, playgrounds, and housing developments that make up this vibrant district.

Deer Creek is back. And better than ever.

Deer Creek remains a beloved name and conjures pleasant memories of entertainment, fun, and, most importantly, connections. Deer Creek District, with its broad, innovative scope and creative energy, is the modern embodiment of that history and a worthy successor to the name.

An unparalleled opportunity.

Noblesville, in partnership with Hamilton County Tourism, has developed a master plan for the broader Exit 210 footprint to support the future growth of Noblesville. To support this growth, now is the right time to develop a brand to proactively create an identity for what is there now and what is to come. Tying it all together will be the iconic Deer Creek District brand that will create a unifying look that signals to residents and visitors they have arrived in Noblesville, and we encourage them to explore all the city has to offer.

An ambitious plan unfolding over time.

Our vision for Deer Creek District is bold, comprehensive, and innovative. Our blueprint is being informed by a wide range of individuals, businesses, and organizations. But vision on this scale takes time. With every step, we are building Noblesville’s future as a go-to destination for local residents and regional visitors.

Our chance to write history.

In Noblesville, we dream big, and the Deer Creek District is our moment. We have a vision and brand that provide the foundation. We have momentum. We have a rich history. This is a journey that should excite all of us.

What is the Deer Creek District?

Deer Creek District is the brand name and logo developed by the City of Noblesville to describe and market a 5,000-acre footprint generally bounded by Interstate 69, Cyntheanne Road, SR 38, 166th Street, and Boden Road. This entire footprint is commonly referred to as “Exit 210.” It currently comprises Hamilton Town Center, Ruoff Music Center, Innovation Mile, Riverview Health Arena, and many more vibrant businesses.

Why the name “Deer Creek District”?

Deer Creek remains a beloved name and conjures pleasant memories of entertainment, fun, and, most importantly, connections. It’s already used to describe the development footprint, and it still has equity.

Why develop a brand?

The area is thriving and growing. It’s vibrant. The City, in partnership with Hamilton County Tourism, has developed a master plan for the broad Exit 210 footprint to support the future growth of Noblesville. To support this growth, now is the right time to develop a brand to proactively create an identity for what is there now and what is to come.

How do I use the brand?

In short, you would use the name of your company or organization, followed by “at Deer Creek District.” But we are developing guidelines and tools to assist you in using the Deer Creek District brand and will be here to provide whatever support you need.

When will the brand be launched publicly?

The Deer Creek District brand will be launched publicly by Mayor Jensen at his state-of-the-city address in September. In conjunction with this announcement, we will launch a publicity, digital, and social media campaign to share it broadly with the public.

When can I start using it and/or talking about it?

Once the brand is launched publicly in September, we encourage you to use it and talk about it broadly.

What is the status of the buildout of this footprint?

Our vision for Deer Creek District is bold, comprehensive and innovative. Our blueprint is being informed by a wide range of individuals, businesses and organizations. But vision on this scale takes time. With every step, we are building Noblesville’s future as a go-to destination for local residents and regional visitors.

Who developed the “Deer Creek District” brand?

The brand was developed by the City of Noblesville in partnership with Hamilton County Tourism after a collaborative effort with key stakeholders, residents, and developers in the area.

Will businesses be required to use the brand and update their signage?

We believe the brand will benefit businesses as well as the overall district, and we encourage you to use it consistent with the branding guidelines we are developing.
